Egger, Senior Pastor
I grew up just outside of Birmingham, AL. I graduated from Southeastern Bible College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible and Theology from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham. I spent some time working through seminary classes at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. However, I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ft. Worth, TX) with a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. I am currently working through a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Teaching and Preaching at Liberty University (Pray for me!). At South Newport Baptist Church, we are devoted to the ministry of the gospel and making it known in our community, state, nation, and the ends of the earth. I have been honored to serve this church for nearly ten years as the Associate Pastor of Student Ministries and now as the Senior Pastor. Rachel and I look forward to the journey ahead that God has in store for SNBC and us.
